Inland II, une installation intégrée dans l’architecture de la maison des arts convoque l’ouïe. Inventé en 1915 et utilisé pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, cet amplificateur de son était utilisé pour écouter et prévenir de l’arrivée de l’ennemi. Sur le même principe que le stéthoscope médical, le·a visiteur·euse est convié·e à chausser les deux cornets acoustiques (lyre) pour écouter ses propres bruits intérieurs et les flux de la maison des arts.
Magma, invite le public à expérimenter par les sens la Terre, à ressentir le sol en se hissant sur deux carrés de bois. L’exercice de trouver son point d’équilibre sur l’œuvre instable permet de prendre conscience du mouvement constant de la Terre et de retrouver notre connexion avec elle. Il existe cinq pièces Magma qui représentent les cinq continents. D’apparence identique, la singularité de chaque sculpture se trouve à l’intérieur.
