Crescendo est une pièce réalisée pour Parisonic, un travail in situ qui a pour point de départ un des composant du lieu : l’escalier.
Des câbles d’acier, dont l’épaisseur est progressive, sont accrochés à la rampe d’escalier pour venir s’ancrer au sol, ils deviennent une extension du garde-fou.
L’espace creux de la rampe métallique et la tension des câbles entrent en résonance et deviennent sonores.
Les visiteur·euses sont invité·es à expérimenter le son des câbles, à manipuler la rampe et à gravir les marches qui offrent aussi un autre point de vue du lieu et des autres œuvres présentées pour Parisonic.
Crescendo is a piece realized for Parisonic, an in situ work which contains one of the components of the place: stairs.
The steel cables, with progressive thickness, are fixed to the stairs ramp to anchor them to the ground. They become an extension of the guardrail.
The hollow space of the metallic ramp and the tension of the cables enter into resonance and become sonorous.
People are invited to experiment with the sound of the cables, to manipulate the ramp, and to climb up the steps which offer another point of view of the place and of the other works presented for Parisonic.
